The 26th Annual Gathering of the Gulf Coast Grandmothers
Sacred Alchemy - A Divine Feminine Path to Peace
The circle is opening once again, and with joyful hearts we invite you to join us for the 26th Annual Gulf Coast Grandmothers Gathering, returning this autumn from October 22–25, 2026, at the peaceful sanctuary of Camp Beckwith in Fairhope, Alabama.
There has perhaps never been a greater need for peace than there is today. In a world that often feels uncertain, divided, and hurried, we are reminded that lasting peace does not begin in institutions or headlines—it begins within each of us. It grows through presence, compassion, courageous listening, and the quiet strength of women who choose to lead with love.
Our 2026 theme, Sacred Alchemy: A Divine Feminine Path to Peace, is an invitation to remember and reclaim that ancient wisdom. For generations, women have served as healers, peacemakers, nurturers, and guardians of community. Together, we will explore the Divine Feminine as a transformative force—one that helps us transmute fear into hope, conflict into understanding, and uncertainty into trust.
This gathering is more than a weekend retreat. It is a sacred pause—a chance to step away from the constant demands of daily life, reconnect with your own inner wisdom, and be nourished by the presence of women who believe, as you do, that another way is possible. Together, we will cultivate the peace we long to see in the world, beginning with ourselves and rippling outward into our families, communities, and future generations.
As we embrace the truth that “We are the weavers of the path; we are the alchemy of the future,” we remember that every act of compassion, every moment of presence, and every heart willing to gather in love becomes part of a larger transformation.
Whether you walk the path of the Maiden, Mother, or Crone, your story, your wisdom, and your presence are an essential thread in this tapestry. We hope you’ll join us this October as we gather once again—to listen deeply, to heal gently, and to weave a more peaceful future, together.

We look forward each year to see what cherished, eclectic, and unique items get donated to our silent auction. On the last evening together, we welcome all to participate in our "Celebration of Self" fun night and talent showcase. Many dress up for the occasion, typically inline with the theme for the year, or simply just because. Music and laughter, silliness, and sincerity are all found as we celebrate our collective unity and our individual expression.
The Croning Ceremony is a special circle where those who have reached the age of 70 are honored with a purple shawl and the collective appreciation of all in attendance. It is a a rite of passage into an era of greater wisdom, increased freedom, and enhanced personal power - a time to joyfully welcome one’s position as an elder within the community.
